New Moon in Ardra – The Eye of The Storm 👁️

A New Moon undresses a month of memories –

New Moon Gemini – Ardra Nakshatra – 25 June – 20:31pm AEST

This is a power packed new moon – The Sun, Moon & Jupiter align in the middle of intellectual, creative and airy sign of Gemini, in the Nakshatra(star) of Ardra, linked to the lord of wild things – Rudra, a powerful form of Shiva. Ardra is connected to dogs, to teardrops, to wild things, storms and thunder.

Moon and Jupiter are currently combust (burnt crispy due to their proximity to the Sun), and thus are somewhat blocked from giving their full blessings. During a new moon, Our minds are withdrawn, this is an internal phase, the dark moon is where our ancestors dream. It is a time of rest & recalibration.

A good storm clears the path for a renewal, a fresh start and a new cycle of understanding. Tears flow which bring clarity, release and healing. Breakdowns lead to breakthroughs, crisis brings change, what is unacceptable becomes the pivotal moment to seize the opportunity.

Jupiter represents husband, morals, ethics, teachers, faith, spirituality (whatever that is or isn’t to you), money, abundance, and the good luck factor. We may feel a lack of guidance, clarity or faith im certain areas. There can be confusion on paths to take, over giving of advice, or refusing to listen to good advice. Ethical/moral issues arise since the Guru has disappeared. (Hello, USA launching bombs on Iran).

A Note on Mars/Ketu in Leo : 8 June – 28 July

We are in the peak of a most volatile times this year as Mars and Keetu make their grand reunion in the sign of Leo. Even if you don’t pay much attention to the stars or the news – you would have noticed the increases in aggression, anger, energy and volatility since early June, around you – perhaps at home, with your partner, friends, work, family etc – even a particular tension in your own hearts…

It may seem that we are helpless in the face of such enormous power, such as what we are witnessing on the world stage – but as a very wise soul one said : “When small men begin to cast big shadows, it means that the sun is about to set” – meaning that when people who lack deep integrity, virtue or wisdom start to hold positions of power or influence, it usually signals a time of moral, ethical and spiritual decay – This is a classical reflection of the current Jupiter Combustion.

However, what we see at the moment in the world is not new.
Times change, but people rarely do. Time is cyclical, not linear.

We last saw Mars and Ketu combine in October 2023 in the sign of Libra – October 7 was when Hamas attacked Israel, on the same day, two 6.8 magnitude earthquakes strike Afghanistan’s Herat Province, killing at least 2,400 people – a week later there was the annual solar eclipse.

Did the eclipse ’cause’ these events? Did Mars/Ketu make that exact event occur?

Planets don’t ’cause’ war, – people do – the energetic seeds of desires and intentions lay dormant in the ‘quantum field’ – Astrology doesn’t create those seeds – it simply reveals when they are ready to sprout, when the fruit is ripe.

Astrology is a symbolic language, reflecting the cycles, the very architecture of time, encoded in the motion of planetary geometry.

If someone is inclined to conflict, that arrow of desire has already been set in motion – we use our ‘free will’ to act on these desires. Understanding astrology’s language allows us the be aware of the quality of time and be prepared for change which is, unequivocally, the foundation of our reality.
